Commanders Corner

 At our June meeting, my predecessor will be elected. I know that you will give him the support and encouragement that you have given me throughout my term.
With that said, I would like to take this time to thank you as a District for continuing our 100% membership numbers during my term and I know that this will continue throughout our new Commanders term. We can and will continue to grow as time goes on.
I would also like to take the opportunity at this time to thank all of my officers, elected and appointed for a job well done. Without you we would not be as successful as we are and I couldn’t have done my job as well as I hope I did.
I was once told that the Commander is a figure head and it’s his officers that make him look and do well. There is so much truth to that statement. For that I do thank each and every one of you. I wish our new leadership well and hope that he will continue in my footsteps by keeping up this montly Commanders Corner.
Again I thank each and every one of you and until next time, remember that, being a Son’s of the American Legion member, is being an American Legion Family member, and this is not only a privilege, but an honor.
